Royal Public School, Bhandara has successfully introduced CBSE’s SAFAL (Structured Assessment for Analysing Learning) framework for students of Grades 3, 5, and 8. This initiative marks a significant shift towards competency-based education, focusing on conceptual understanding, skill development, and real learning outcomes rather than rote memorization.

The SAFAL assessment system, developed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), is designed to evaluate students’ progress in a comprehensive and diagnostic manner. It provides valuable insights into their grasp of core subjects like Mathematics, Science, and Languages, helping teachers tailor instruction to individual learning needs. “By implementing SAFAL, we aim to ensure that every child not only learns but truly understands what they learn,” said the school administration.
