BRIEF HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL

To provide highest education to their wards, is the wish and will of all parents. Royal Public School had a modest beginning with only 46 students in the academic year 1999-2000, with limited infrastructure and premises at Vidyanagar, Bhandara. In the academic year 2000-2001,with immense support from the Education department of Bhandara, Maharashtra State Government granted permission to start first standard. In the year 2007 the present school campus was developed in a peaceful ambiance of 7 acres. At present the institution has 70,000 Sq. Ft. built-up area with all basic amenities. The school was affiliated with CBSE-New Delhi in the year 2008.

The education we render here aims towards the holistic maturity of a child. All the activities in an academic year is therefore planned in a manner to provide maximum benefit for the students. The syllabi, as well is proportionately divided to ensure reduced examination stress. The school has grown to this zenith due to the undying can do spirit of the steadfast teachers who shoulder the responsibility of the school with the parents, who constantly communicate with the school for the improvement of their wards. Thus, the school works as a collective to sculpt the students as enlightened citizens and well disciplined students who look forward to a better future with autonomous learning where creativity and the variety of thought is allowed to blossom.

Royal Public School is committed to the facilitation of human growth and upliftment, by offering young minds, perennial sources of knowledge – that dispels darkness. The mission of the school aims at looking beyond academic excellence and intellectual skills, and persistently strive to address the socio-cultural needs of the community. The School aims to evolve and grow as a centre of educational excellence, making the students academically superior, and ethically sensitive, which together would improve the quality of human life – for those who interact with them at various stages in their lives, as much as for themselves. EVOLUTION

Royal Public School started its activities in humble surroundings with three teachers and 46 students: Kindergarten – 1999 Primary school -2000 Secondary school-2008

MANAGEMENT

Royal Education Society, Bhandara, presently consisting of 9 service-minded people has identified education as its prime mission. The Board of Directors – a nine member core management team looks after the management of the School. The activities are supervised by the offices of the President, the Secretary and the Treasurer. Mr.Madhu Samuel, Executive Director looks after the day to day management of the school.

FACULTY

The backbone of an educational institution is its faculty. The school’s faculty comprises of 30 TGT and 30 PRT teachers specially equipped to train in various extra-curricular activities. This enables the School to maintain a teacher-student ratio of 1:25, thereby enabling personalized attention and guidance to bring out the best in the students. Competent and committed teachers at the school look after the intellectual, physical and moral well-being of each and every student. The prime motto of the faculty is to mould the students into well-rounded and mature personalities. The School is embarking on a mission to equip students with skills designed to cope with the IT Age. Naturally, this entails the faculty continuously updating themselves with the latest global trends.
