Academic
The School follows K-10 pattern of education and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi .
Student life – Academic
In Royal Public School, the day begins with assembly in the main courtyard for all the classes at 8 AM. The School captain, the vice captain and the heads of the houses lead the session. The assembly includes prayer, a national pledge, choir singing, reading of a selected passage from the scripture , ‘thoughts for the week’, reading of the important news of the day, and the playing of the School band. There is mass P.T. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The classes are scheduled from 8-20 AM to 2-35 PM. Apart from curriculum-based and examination-oriented teaching, the academic work includes project-based learning, industrial visits and study tours.
The School conducts two major exams in an academic year. The students are given special guidance and coaching for their development. Parents are also kept informed through ‘open house’ sessions.
Activities – extra-academic
The extra-academic calendar is replete with events. The students are divided into four houses and activities are planned under the supervision of house-in-charge teachers and spearheaded by the house captains, vice captains and ministers. For competitions conducted in the literary and cultural fields and in sports and games, entries are received on the basis of house identities; while group events are assessed on inter-house basis. The best house is awarded a rolling trophy.

Curriculum
The table below consist of the description of subjects taught in various classes The syllabus followed is as per CBSE scheme. Activity-driven teaching strategies go hand in hand with chalk-and-talk methods. Periodical oral and written evaluations and assessments are conducted. Inputs in arts and craft, and music and drama are also imparted.

Secondary School
In class IX, students enroll for the All India Senior Secondary School Examination(AISSE). Special teachers are available to train the students in Music, Dance, Karate, Aerobics and Yoga. The art & craft teachers bring colour to the curriculum. Physical Education department sees to it that the young learners remain active and healthy and nurture positive physical culture among the students.
